Checking Free off the list with a recent gift card purchase, Demetri Martin’s Point Your Face at This. I enjoyed Martin’s last book This Is a Book. It was a combination of drawings and essays. You have to appreciate his humor to appreciate the essays but the drawings are pretty universal. One was a picture of highway traffic and all the cars were labeled ‘Idiot’ except for one labeled ‘Me.’

Point Your Face at This is an entire book of those drawings. My favorites were the break room and the ‘3D person in our living room’ drawings. I kind of wish I could get a small print of the last one and hang it somewhere. Even if you’re not a big Martin Fan it’s worth a read.
