This was what I call a blockbuster book. It’s fast paced, simple to read, and has plenty of action and deception. There are secret societies, a ruthless assassin, and a normal guy who got dragged into all this but must see it through to the end.
Including Superman was an interesting twist but it felt like a combination of Indiana Jones and Dan Brown tweaked just enough to avoid legal trouble. The Cain and Abel set-up was different but the whole thing lacked originality. I just felt like I heard this story many times over.
It was enjoyable but underwhelming. It’s good if you want an action-packed but easy beach read.
